The PDR has a pre-install MDF framework with a "Plaster In Edge", allowing for a neat installation into the ceiling. This eliminates any visible on-ceiling flange around the mechanism, with only the smallest 3mm (1/8") shadow gap around the lid when closed. The framework can be installed at first fix, with the mechanism easily clicking into the framework at a later point using spring loaded locks, with perfectly placed cable routing detail.
The provided MDF ceiling panel enables the perfect ceiling finish to be attained, enabling a finished material to be added if required.
